EMPP is pleased to announce another significant court victory it obtained on behalf of its clients. Our litigation team successfully represented Russian recycling companies in a lawsuit filed in the Commercial Court of Moscow seeking the removal of defamatory YouTube videos, retractions and compensation for damages. Partner Petr Shevsov led the team with support from counsel Andrey Kornitskiy and associate Matvey Konovalov.

EMPP litigation team led by Partner Petr Shevtsov and Counsel Andrey Kornitskiy acted for a plaintiff in his successful legal action brought against a Russian federal media channel. The defamation case involved allegations of internet defamation arising from comments that were published by the defendant via its site and YouTube channel. The commercial court of two instances ordered the defendants to remove all the defamatory matters related to the client of EMPP law firm.
